- Ensure the vehicle cabin is at room temperature. Avoid fitting in cold or damp conditions as adhesive performance may be reduced.
- Thoroughly clean the existing roof AC vent surrounds using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or a clean lint-free cloth. Remove any dust, grease or residue and allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit each trim piece over the vent surround before peeling the adhesive backing — confirm alignment and orientation before committing.
- Peel the adhesive backing from the first trim piece, align carefully over the vent surround, and press firmly from the centre outward for 30–60 seconds.
- Repeat for all three pieces, working front to rear across the roofline.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before exposing the trim to moisture or extremes of temperature.
⚠ Note: Do not attempt to reposition a trim piece once the adhesive has made contact with the surface. If you need to re-align, work quickly before the bond sets. Ensure the surface is completely dry before fitment — any moisture trapped beneath the trim may reduce long-term adhesion.
