- Remove any cups, bottles, or loose items from both cup holders. Wipe the cup holder recesses clean using a dry or lightly damp cloth and allow to dry fully before proceeding.
- Take one cup holder cover mat and orient it correctly by aligning the profile to the recess geometry — the mats are shaped to guide themselves into position.
- Lower the mat steadily into the cup holder recess, pressing gently around the perimeter to ensure it sits flush against all edges with no gaps or lifted sections.
- Repeat for the second cup holder. Both mats should sit level and stable with no movement or flex when light pressure is applied from above.
