- Thoroughly clean both mirror housing surfaces using an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipe or panel wipe solution. Remove any wax, polish residue, or road film entirely.
- Allow the surface to dry completely for a minimum of 5 minutes before proceeding.
- Dry-fit each carbon cover to confirm alignment and positioning before committing to adhesion.
- Peel the adhesive backing from the tape strips and carefully align the cover to the mirror housing from the leading edge inward.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the full face of the cover for at least 30 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the mirrors to heavy rain for 24 hours post-installation to allow full cure.
