Installation Notes
Difficulty: Intermediate · Estimated Time: 60–120 minutes
- Carefully remove the factory infotainment unit using trim removal tools to avoid damaging the surrounding dash panels.
- Disconnect the original wiring harness connectors from the rear of the factory unit.
- Connect the supplied vehicle-specific wiring harness to the new Android head unit — all connectors are keyed and labelled for straightforward installation.
- Seat the new 10.25-inch unit into the dash aperture and secure using the provided mounting hardware.
- Refit the trim surround and fascia panels, ensuring all clips engage cleanly.
- Connect the Apple CarPlay USB dongle to the designated USB port on the head unit.
- Power on the vehicle and run through the initial setup wizard to configure WiFi, language and display preferences.
- Test all original vehicle functions — climate, audio, navigation — by pressing the NAV button to verify the factory interface remains fully operational.
