- Ensure the vehicle interior is at room temperature — cold adhesive bonds less effectively. Allow the car to warm if recently parked outside in cold weather.
- Use the included prep wipe (or isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth) to thoroughly clean the surface of each existing seat adjustment button surround. Remove any dust, grease, or residue and allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit each trim piece over the corresponding button area before committing. Confirm alignment and button cutout registration without peeling the adhesive backing.
- Peel the protective film from the adhesive backing on the first trim piece. Carefully align to the button surround and press firmly from the centre outward, applying even pressure for 20–30 seconds per piece.
- Repeat for remaining trim pieces. Avoid pressing or operating the seat adjustment buttons for at least 30 minutes after installation to allow the adhesive to set fully.
