Installation Notes

- Park the Defender on a level surface and allow the engine to cool fully before beginning any electrical work.
- Identify the correct mounting position on the roof rail — refer to the included template or dry-fit the pod before committing to any fixings.
- Route the supplied wiring loom from the roof through the A-pillar or door seal, keeping the run tidy and away from moving parts.
- Connect the wiring loom to a suitable fused circuit in the vehicle's fuse box — a switched live is recommended so the lights are only active when the ignition is on.
- Secure the roof pod using the supplied mounting hardware, ensuring all fixings are tightened evenly to prevent flex or movement at speed.
- Pair the wireless remote receiver to the RF remote control as per the enclosed instructions, then test full function before finalising the installation.
- Tuck and secure all wiring, refit any panels disturbed during routing, and perform a final inspection before driving.
⚠ Please Note: Basic DIY wiring experience is recommended. If you are not confident working with automotive electrics, we recommend using a qualified auto-electrician. Due to the handmade nature of this product, minor surface variations in the carbon fibre weave are normal and not considered defects. Installation is the responsibility of the customer.
