- Park on a level surface and allow the interior to reach ambient temperature before beginning. Cold trim panels are more brittle and prone to stress marks during removal.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully detach each factory panel in the order listed in the included fitting guide — beginning with the dashboard end trims and working inward toward the centre console.
- Set factory trim aside in a safe location. These should be retained in the event of a warranty claim or future resale.
- Test-fit each carbon fibre replacement panel before final installation to confirm correct clip alignment and panel orientation.
- Locate each panel onto the factory mounting points and press firmly until all clips engage. Do not force any panel — resistance indicates a misalignment that should be corrected before applying further pressure.
- Fit the gear selector surround and window switch surrounds last, ensuring no wiring harnesses are pinched beneath the panels.
- Wipe down all installed panels with a dry microfibre cloth to remove any fingerprints from the lacquer surface before use.
⚠ Professional Installation Recommended. While this kit is designed for direct OEM replacement, trim removal on the L663 involves plastic clips that may be fragile on older vehicles.
