- Ensure the bonnet/hood is fully open and supported. Allow the engine bay to cool completely before beginning work.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully release the retaining clips securing the existing factory vent slats. Work gently from one end to avoid cracking the surrounding trim.
- Remove the original vent slats fully and set aside. Clean the mounting channels with a microfibre cloth to remove any dust or debris.
- Align the new forged carbon hood vents with the factory mounting positions. Verify orientation — the OCTA design is directional.
- Press firmly and evenly along the length of each vent until all retaining clips engage with an audible click. Do not force — if resistance is felt, recheck alignment.
- Close the bonnet and inspect from the front of the vehicle to confirm even seating and flush fitment on both sides.
