- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the ignition fully off and the key removed from the vehicle.
- Open the bonnet and locate the fog light retaining clips and fixing screws on the inner bumper panel — a T20 Torx bit is typically required.
- Carefully release the factory fog light unit by pressing the retaining tab and gently pulling the housing forward from the bumper aperture.
- Disconnect the OEM wiring connector from the back of the original fog light unit by pressing the release tab and pulling firmly.
- Connect the matching OEM-spec connector from the new Gold LED fog light until it clicks securely into place — no splicing or additional wiring required.
- Seat the new light housing into the bumper aperture, aligning the mounting tabs, and secure with the original fixings.
- Repeat for the opposite side, then reconnect the vehicle and test both fog lights before completing the installation.
