- Thoroughly clean the headlamp surround area with an isopropyl alcohol wipe to remove all grease, wax, and road grime. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
- Offer up each guard to the headlamp surround without removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment and fitment is accurate and the guard sits flush against the contour of the lamp.
- Mark the intended position lightly with masking tape if desired, to serve as a placement guide during final fitment.
- Peel back the adhesive tape backing on the first guard. Carefully align the guard to your marked position and press firmly into place, applying even pressure across the full surface for 30–60 seconds.
- Repeat the process for the second guard on the opposite side, ensuring symmetry before committing to the final bond.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before exposing the vehicle to water, washing, or off-road use.
⚠ Important: Surface temperature affects adhesive performance. Do not install in direct sunlight on a hot vehicle or in cold conditions below 10°C. For best results, install in a clean, dry environment at ambient temperature. Ensure no moisture is present beneath the guard prior to bonding.
