- Begin with the vehicle interior at room temperature. Cold conditions can reduce adhesive bonding strength significantly.
- Thoroughly clean the central armrest surface using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or a lint-free cloth dampened with IPA solution. Remove any dust, oils, or residue completely.
- Allow the cleaned surface to air dry for a minimum of 2–3 minutes before proceeding.
- Dry-fit the carbon fiber strip against the armrest without removing the adhesive backing, confirming alignment and position before committing.
- Peel the adhesive backing carefully from the reverse of the strip, avoiding contact with the exposed adhesive layer.
- Align the strip precisely with the armrest panel and press firmly from the centre outward, applying consistent pressure for 20–30 seconds across the full surface.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before exposing the surface to heavy use, moisture, or direct sunlight.
Important: Do not attempt installation in temperatures below 10°C or in direct sunlight. Applying the strip to a damp, oily, or dusty surface will significantly compromise adhesion and may cause premature lifting. If in doubt, clean the surface a second time before fitting.
