Installation Notes
Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 20–30 Minutes · Tools Required: None (hairdryer optional)
- Lay all 8 strips alongside your vehicle's door panels to confirm the correct position and orientation for each piece before committing to installation.
- Thoroughly clean each installation area with an isopropyl alcohol wipe or equivalent degreaser. Ensure the surface is completely dry and free of wax, dust, or polish residue.
- Peel back the adhesive protective film on the rear of each strip. For best adhesion, gently warm the tape using a hairdryer on a low setting — this activates the adhesive and significantly improves bond strength.
- Carefully align the strip to the marked position on the door panel, pressing firmly from the centre outward to avoid air pockets. Apply sustained pressure for 20–30 seconds per strip.
- Allow the adhesive to cure at room temperature for a minimum of 2–4 hours before exposing the vehicle to water or extreme temperatures.
Important: Do not install in temperatures below 10°C / 50°F. Cold conditions significantly reduce adhesive performance. For best long-term results, install indoors or in a heated garage.
