Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner — Estimated Time: 45–75 Minutes
- Park the Defender on a level surface and ensure the engine is off and cool before beginning work.
- Open the bonnet and locate the existing front bumper mounting points along the lower front fascia.
- Dry-fit the bumper guard against the vehicle to confirm alignment with all factory apertures and mounting holes before final installation.
- Insert the supplied alignment brackets into position, ensuring they seat flush against the bumper surface.
- Secure the guard using the included hardware kit — begin with centre fixings and work outward to ensure even pressure distribution.
- Verify that all fog light, parking sensor, and camera apertures remain unobstructed and fully functional.
- Do a final visual check from the front and sides to confirm the guard sits level and flush before torquing all fixings to hand-tight.
⚠ Important Note: A winch or capstan is not included with this kit. If you intend to use this guard with a capstan or winch frame system, the Enhanced Capstan Kit must be purchased separately — both components are required to complete the winch-ready configuration. Professional installation is recommended if you are unsure about any step.
