Installation Notes
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–75 minutes
Disconnect the battery negative terminal and wait 5 minutes for residual voltage to drain.
Allow the engine to cool completely. Do not open the coolant system while hot; risk of severe burns.
Position a drain pan beneath the radiator. Open the lower radiator bleed screw and allow coolant to drain into a waste container (do not dump down drains).
Locate each hose clamp using the OEM diagram (part numbers correspond to circuit location). Remove clamps using a flat-blade screwdriver or hose clamp tool.
Gently twist and pull each hose away from its fitting. Do not force; apply penetrating oil if hoses are seized.
Inspect all connection ports for corrosion or debris. If present, flush lightly with clean water and dry thoroughly.
Install new hoses in reverse order, starting with the expansion tank feed (LR000933), then radiator return (LR006165), then engine discharge (LR019341).
Refit hose clamps snugly—firm but not over-tightened. Over-tightening ruptures reinforced hose walls.
Refill the coolant reservoir with the correct OEM specification (Jaguar Land Rover Genuine Coolant or approved equivalent). Do not mix brands.
Bleed air from the cooling circuit: Start the engine with the radiator cap loose, run for 2–3 minutes at idle, then top up coolant as bubbles rise and escape.
Reinstall the radiator cap and monitor temperature gauge for 10 minutes of road testing at light load.
Important: Coolant is highly toxic to animals and humans. Dispose of old coolant through a licensed automotive waste facility. Never pour used coolant down drains or onto soil. Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection when handling hoses and fittings.

Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 1–2 Hours
Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 5 minutes for the electrical system to discharge.
Allow the engine to cool completely. This job requires access to hot coolant lines; never work on a warm engine.
Locate the hose connection points: Engine block outlet (lower front) and heater core inlet (upper firewall area, passenger side).
Position a coolant drain pan beneath the hose. Some coolant will spill—expect 0.5–1.0 litre loss.
Remove hose clamps using a flathead screwdriver or spring-clamp removal tool. Note clamp positions for reassembly.
Gently twist and pull the old hose away from both ports. Do not force—apply steady, even pressure.
Inspect the port spigots for cracks or corrosion. If damaged, the component may require replacement.
Install the new hose by pushing firmly onto both ports until fully seated. The hose should not spin freely on the spigot.
Reinstall hose clamps in their original positions. Tighten firmly but do not over-torque (risk of splitting the rubber).
Refill the coolant system through the expansion tank cap. Use Pentosin FrostSchutz (or equivalent OEM-approved coolant) to top up to the cold-fill line.
Bleed air from the system by running the engine at idle for 5 minutes with the expansion tank cap removed. Top up as needed.
Reinstall the expansion tank cap and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Test for leaks by idling the engine for 10 minutes and inspecting both hose connection points. Stop the engine and recheck after cooling.
⚠️ Important: Never open the coolant expansion tank or disconnect hoses while the engine is hot. Hot coolant under pressure can cause severe burns. Always work on a cold engine. If coolant loss is significant or leaks persist after installation, stop use immediately and seek professional diagnosis.

Overview
The Range Rover Evoque L538 (2012–2018) and Discovery Sport L550 (2015+) with 2.0L turbocharged petrol engines rely on precision-engineered cooling lines to manage heat under sustained load and high performance. The expansion tank lower hose is a critical component in this system, connecting the radiator expansion tank to the engine block and dissipating residual heat during and after operation.
Over time, OEM rubber hoses deteriorate due to thermal cycling, pressure fluctuations, and exposure to corrosive coolant chemistry. Cracks, splits, and seepage lead to coolant loss, air ingestion into the system, overheating, and—if left unaddressed—catastrophic engine damage. This genuine replacement hose restores OEM integrity using the same material specification and fitment geometry as the factory part.
Partsmost sources this component from established automotive suppliers and validates each unit against Land Rover technical standards. A full 12-month warranty and worldwide shipping via premium couriers ensure peace of mind whether you're a DIY enthusiast or supporting a professional technician.

Installation Notes
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 Minutes
Safety First: Allow engine to cool completely. Remove negative battery terminal and drain cooling system into a clean container. Do not skip this step—pressurized coolant will cause severe burns.
Access: Remove any plastic undertray or engine cover necessary to reach the expansion tank and lower radiator connections.
Disconnect Old Hose: Loosen hose clamps at both ends using a Phillips or flat-head screwdriver. Twist gently and pull the old hose free. Inspect the mating surfaces for debris or corrosion.
Install New Hose: Slide the new hose onto the expansion tank outlet and radiator inlet. Position clamps 1–2 cm from each end and tighten securely—snug but not over-tightened to avoid crushing.
Refill Coolant: Pour fresh 50/50 coolant mixture (or per your service manual spec) back into the expansion tank to the "MAX" line. Reinstall filler cap.
Bleed Air: Start the engine and allow it to idle for 5–10 minutes. Monitor the temperature gauge. If air pockets remain, open the bleed screw on the thermostat housing briefly, then retighten.
Final Check: Turn off the engine, allow coolant to cool, and recheck the level. Top up if necessary. Run the engine once more and inspect all connection points for drips.
Warning: Never run the engine with the cooling system empty or partially empty. Air in the system will cause overheating, loss of heater function, and potential head gasket failure. If you are not confident with this procedure, seek assistance from a qualified Land Rover technician.

Installation Guide
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 2–3 hours
Warm the engine to 40°C, then allow to cool for 10 minutes. Do not work on a hot engine.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal and secure it away from the post.
Drain the cooling system into a clean container. Catch any oil spillage with absorbent material.
Remove the lower undertray (plastic belly pan) secured by 6–8 Torx fasteners.
Unbolt the cooler assembly from its mounting bracket—typically 4 bolts (M8 or M10 depending on engine). Support with your hand as you remove the final bolt.
Disconnect oil inlet and outlet hoses using a hose clamp tool. Have a drain tray ready. Plug both ports immediately.
Position the new assembly on the mounting bracket, align bolt holes, and hand-start all fasteners before final tightening. Torque to 25–30 Nm.
Connect hoses using OE-spec hose clamps. Oil flows from the engine block to the inlet port (marked with an arrow). Verify tightness by tugging each hose.
Refill the cooling system with OE coolant mix (50/50 distilled water and concentrate). Bleed air by running the engine at idle until the thermostat opens, then top off.
Reinstall the undertray and reconnect the battery terminal.
Start the engine and check for drips around all connection points. Allow 5 minutes of idle running, then check coolant level once more.
Important: This cooler carries oil pressure and coolant flow. Even minor leaks can damage the engine. If you're not confident in your mechanical skills, have a qualified Land Rover technician perform the installation. Improper fitting voids the warranty.
Ready to Keep Your Engine Cool?
Don't wait for oil temp spikes or catastrophic cooling failure. Install this OE-spec cooler now and drive with confidence for years to come.

Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 1.5–2 Hours
Preparation: Allow engine to cool completely (minimum 2 hours). Disconnect negative battery terminal to disable electric coolant fans. Remove plastic engine cover if fitted.
Drain Coolant: Position a drain pan beneath the radiator. Open the bleed screw on top of the thermostat housing and lower radiator drain plug. Allow full system drainage.
Remove Upper Hose: Unclip two hose clamps (thermostat end and radiator inlet). Gently twist and withdraw hose. Inspect radiator and thermostat housing connections for debris or damage.
Remove Lower Hose: Unclip radiator outlet clamp and water pump inlet clamp. Support radiator slightly if necessary for access. Remove hose.
Install Lower Hose First: Slide new lower hose onto water pump return stub (inlet side). Secure with original hose clamp, positioning clamp band on reinforced section of hose. Tighten to hand-tight, then quarter-turn with screwdriver.
Connect Radiator Outlet: Route hose along original path, insert into radiator lower tank connection, and secure second clamp. Ensure hose does not contact sharp edges or hot surfaces.
Install Upper Hose: Connect thermostat outlet end first, then route hose to radiator top inlet. Secure both clamps using same technique (hand-tight + quarter-turn).
Refill & Bleed: Close drain plugs and reconnect hose clamps. Pour OEM or equivalent long-life coolant into expansion reservoir to "cold" level mark. Start engine with heating set to maximum, and run until upper hose warms and thermostat opens (fan may cycle). Top up coolant as level drops. Repeat until level stabilises and no air pockets remain.
Test Run: Run engine for 5 minutes in neutral. Check all hose connections, clamps, and floor beneath vehicle for leaks. Verify coolant level after cooling period (15 minutes).
Final Check: Refit engine cover. Reconnect battery. Perform a short test drive and re-inspect connections upon return.
⚠️ Coolant Safety: Never open coolant system on a hot engine—internal pressure can cause severe scalding. Always work with a fully cooled system. Use only approved automotive coolant; mixing coolant types or using water alone will compromise thermal performance and accelerate component corrosion. Dispose of old coolant responsibly at a certified recycling facility; do not pour down drains.

Installation Notes
Difficulty: Moderate | Time: 30–45 minutes
Cool Engine: Allow engine to cool for 15–20 minutes. Do not work on a hot engine; coolant is under pressure and scalding.
Drain Coolant (Optional): If replacing to prevent future leaks, drain system via the lower radiator plug. Catch fluid in a clean container for reuse or recycling.
Remove Upper Hose Clamps: Locate the upper radiator hose connectors at the radiator and thermostat housing. Loosen hose clamps with a screwdriver or hose clamp pliers.
Disconnect Hose: Gently twist and pull the old hose free from both connections. Drain any remaining coolant into a container.
Install New Hose: Slide the new upper hose onto both connectors, ensuring a full seat. Hand-tighten hose clamps first for alignment, then use a screwdriver to tighten securely (snug but not over-tightened).
Refill Coolant: If drained, top up the radiator and overflow tank with the factory-spec coolant for your vehicle. Do not mix coolant types.
Bleed Air: Start engine and allow to reach normal operating temperature. Turn on cabin heater to full. Look for air pockets in the coolant system; top up if necessary.
Inspect Connection: Once cool, check hose connections for leaks or seepage. Retighten clamps if needed.
Dispose Properly: Coolant is toxic. Never dump down drains. Take used coolant to a local recycling facility or mechanic.
Safety First: Never remove the radiator cap from a hot engine. Pressurized coolant can cause severe burns. Allow at least 15 minutes of cool-down time before starting work.

Installation
Difficulty Level: Beginner to Intermediate | Time: 15–20 minutes
Disconnect Battery Negative Terminal. Always de-energise before touching cooling circuit components.
Allow Engine to Cool. Wait 30+ minutes after engine shutdown to avoid scalding coolant contact.
Locate Intercooler Outlet and Inlet Manifold. Reference installation diagram; outlet sits driver-side, manifold inlet on cylinder head top-front.
Remove Old Hose Assembly. Loosen both hose clamps with adjustable wrench; gently twist and withdraw hose from both ports. Drain any residual boost pressure into catch pan.
Inspect Connection Ports. Wipe clean with dry cloth; check for damage, corrosion, or debris. Replace rubber seals if cracked or flattened.
Route New Hose Assembly. Position hose along factory path (driver-side engine bay); avoid contact with exhaust manifold, ancillaries, or high-heat surfaces.
Secure to Intercooler Outlet. Slide hose onto outlet nozzle (74mm bore); position clamp ~5mm from hose end; tighten to 8–12 Nm using torque wrench.
Secure to Inlet Manifold. Slide hose onto manifold inlet (67mm bore); position clamp ~5mm from hose end; tighten to 8–12 Nm.
Pressure Test. Start engine; rev gently to 1500 rpm; inspect both clamp points for air weeping. Tighten further if micro-leaks detected.
Reconnect Battery. Re-engage negative terminal; clear any fault codes using diagnostic scanner if required.
Road Test. Drive gently for 5 km to verify boost delivery, turbo spool, and engine response. No whistle, surge, or overboost faults should occur.
⚠️ Never force the hose onto ports. If resistance is met, verify you have the correct assembly (bore sizes 74mm outlet, 67mm manifold). Do not use sealants or thread-lock on rubber hose interfaces—hose design relies on friction fit only. Over-tightening clamps will crush the hose wall and create internal blockage.

Overview
The oil cooler gasket is a critical sealing component in Land Rover and Range Rover cooling systems. It sits between the oil cooler and engine block, preventing pressurized oil leakage during operation. Over time, thermal cycling causes the factory rubber gasket to harden, crack, and weep—leading to loss of oil pressure, coolant contamination, and potential engine damage.
This replacement gasket meets OEM specifications and is manufactured to the same tolerances as the original part. It's suitable for Discovery 3 & 4, Discovery 5, Range Rover Vogue L405, Range Rover Sport L494, and Range Rover Velar equipped with 3.0L V6 TDV6 or 5.0L V8 petrol engines.
Installation requires no special tools and takes under an hour. The gasket comes new, pre-fitted to help prevent damage during handling, and includes a torque specification card to ensure proper sealing.

Installation
⚙ Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 5–10 minutes
Cool the engine fully – Allow at least 30 minutes after shutdown. Never open the cooling system on a hot engine.
Locate the expansion tank – Typically positioned in the engine bay on the driver's or passenger's side; consult your owner's manual if unsure.
Remove the old cap – Turn anticlockwise slowly and lift away. Note the position of any seals.
Clean the filler neck – Wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove any debris or old rubber fragments.
Install the new cap – Align the cap and turn clockwise until snug. Do not over-tighten—firm hand pressure is sufficient.
Start the engine – Run for 2–3 minutes and check for any leaks around the cap. Top up coolant if necessary once engine cools.
Monitor coolant level – Recheck after your first drive to confirm the seal is holding pressure correctly.
⚠ Important: Never remove the cap from a hot cooling system. Pressurised coolant can cause severe burns. Always wait for the engine to cool completely. If your cooling system overheats repeatedly after cap replacement, have a mechanic inspect the radiator and thermostat.

Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Beginner–Intermediate | Approx. 45 minutes
Drain coolant safely. Allow engine to cool, then open the radiator bleed screw (typically located on the radiator top or thermostat housing). Capture coolant in a waste container.
Locate thermostat housing. On 2.2L TDV6 platforms, the thermostat housing is mounted on top of the engine block near the front. Remove the upper radiator hose clamp first if necessary for access.
Disconnect old bypass hose. Release both hose clamps (typically 8–10 mm breaker bar or socket wrench). Note clamp positions for reinstallation. Disconnect the hose from the thermostat inlet and water pump outlet.
Install new bypass hose. Route the new hose carefully to avoid sharp edges. Ensure it clears the alternator, power steering pump, and engine accessories. Tighten clamps evenly—do not over-tighten, as this can damage the hose spigots.
Refill coolant. Open the radiator cap and pour fresh 50/50 coolant mix slowly. Bleed trapped air by opening the bleed screw until coolant flows without air bubbles. Close bleed screw, then the radiator cap.
Test and inspect. Start the engine and allow it to idle for 2–3 minutes. Check for leaks around both clamps. Monitor coolant temperature gauge on the instrument cluster—should stabilise at normal running temperature (around 90°C) within 5 minutes.
⚠ Warning: Always allow the engine to cool completely before draining coolant. Never run the engine without coolant or with the radiator cap off. Do not reuse old hose clamps if they show corrosion or reduced spring tension. Replace with new stainless-steel clamps if needed.

Installation Overview
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 2–3 hours
Disconnect battery negative terminal. Always start with a cold engine (20+ minutes after shutdown).
Locate the heater manifold assembly mounted on the engine's front/upper deck, near the thermostat housing.
Drain coolant system into a clean container. Mark the exact coolant type (OAT, HOAT, etc.) for refill.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature sensor (usually blue or green housing).
Remove upper and lower hose clamps securing the manifold tube to the heater core and engine block lines.
Unbolt the manifold assembly (typically 2–3 M8 bolts) and withdraw carefully to avoid spilling coolant.
Clean all mounting faces and hose ports with a lint-free cloth. Inspect hoses for cracks or perishing.
Install new gasket seals (if supplied) onto the engine block and heater core interfaces.
Position the new manifold tube assembly and align bolt holes. Insert bolts hand-tight first.
Torque bolts to 20–25 Nm in a cross pattern. Do not over-tighten (risk of plastic cracking).
Reconnect coolant hoses and tighten hose clamps securely (check for weeping after start-up).
Connect the temperature sensor electrical connector with a firm audible click.
Refill coolant system with OEM specification fluid. Bleed air by running the heater on high for 2–3 minutes.
Reconnect battery, start engine, and monitor temperature gauge. Cabin heater should warm within 30 seconds.
Recheck all connections after 5 minutes of idle. No steam, no pooling coolant = success.
⚠ Important: Coolant is toxic. Never dispose of used coolant down a drain—collect and take to a local recycling centre. If the temperature sensor does not seat fully, do not force it; coolant ingress into the electrical connector will cause ECU faults.

On Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover Velar models with 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8 petrol engines, this hose operates under sustained pressure and temperature. Degradation—cracking, internal collapse, or perishing—leads to coolant leaks, overheating, and potential engine damage.
Our replacement tube matches OEM specifications precisely, using reinforced rubber and correct diameter to withstand peak coolant temperatures and system pressure. Engineered for the front-mounted engine position across all supported Land Rover models, it seats perfectly on both thermostat and pump connections without modification.
Whether you're addressing an existing leak, performing preventative maintenance, or rebuilding your cooling system, this tube delivers the durability and fit Land Rover owners expect—without the dealer markup.

Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 minutes
Prepare the vehicle: Park on level ground, engage handbrake, allow engine to cool fully (minimum 2 hours after shutdown).
Drain coolant: Open the coolant expansion tank cap slowly to relieve pressure. Position a catch tray beneath the radiator drain plug and remove it. Allow full drain (typically 5–8 liters).
Remove hose clamps: Locate the outlet tube connecting the thermostat housing (on block) to the water pump inlet. Loosen hose clamps at both ends using an appropriate sized wrench or socket.
Remove old tube: Gently twist and slide the tube away from both connections. Some coolant may still be trapped—have rags ready.
Inspect connection ports: Wipe thermostat and pump ports clean. Check for corrosion or debris; clean with soft cloth if necessary.
Install new tube: Align the new outlet tube onto both ports. Ensure it seats fully against the ports before tightening clamps.
Secure clamps: Tighten hose clamps snugly but do not over-torque; clamp bolts should be hand-tight plus one-quarter turn. Over-tightening can crack the rubber.
Refill coolant: Pour fresh coolant (OEM-spec or equivalent 50:50 mix) into the expansion tank until the level reaches the "COLD" mark. Reinstall cap.
Bleed air: Start the engine and allow it to idle for 2–3 minutes. Monitor coolant temperature on the dashboard. If air enters the system, you may feel a brief loss of cabin heat. Open the expansion tank cap slightly (with the engine running and only if fully cooled) to purge trapped air; top up if needed.
Check for leaks: Run the engine at idle for 5 minutes. Inspect both hose connections and clamp areas for weeping or dripping. Tighten clamps incrementally if minor seeping occurs. If leaking persists, stop immediately and re-check tube seating.
Road test: Drive gently for 10 minutes to bring the engine to operating temperature. Return to your workspace and re-check coolant level and clamps after a 15-minute cool-down.
⚠ Warning: Never open the coolant system while the engine is hot—pressurized coolant can cause severe burns. Always drain, work, and refill when the engine and cooling system are completely cold. If you have no experience with cooling system work, consult a qualified technician.

Overview
The Discovery 4, Range Rover (L405), and Range Rover Sport (L494) depend on efficient engine oil cooling to maintain optimal thermal performance under load. Your vehicle's 3.0L turbodiesel V6 operates at higher pressures and temperatures than petrol counterparts—and a compromised oil cooler will trigger elevated engine bay temperatures, diagnostic faults, and accelerated component wear.
This OEM-specification oil cooler assembly restores factory cooling capacity. Featuring a robust aluminum core design and complete gasket set (three O-ring seals, LR013151 / LR013161 / LR013162), it integrates directly into your vehicle's existing coolant and oil circuits without modification. The unit is manufactured to Land Rover specification LR013149 / LR040738 and is drop-in compatible across all mentioned platforms.
Proper oil cooling extends turbocharger life, reduces thermal stress on gaskets and seals, and maintains consistent oil viscosity during extended motorway cruising or off-road work. This is a critical service item for any Discovery 4, Range Rover, or Range Rover Sport owner running the 3.0L diesel.

⚠ Always verify part number match before purchase. See installation guide for full fitment details. If unsure, contact us with your VIN number or part code.
Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 1.5–3 hours
Drain coolant. Place drain pan beneath radiator. Open petcock or remove lower hose to drain system completely. Dispose of old coolant responsibly.
Remove water pump housing bolts. Unbolt water pump from engine block using appropriate socket set. Gasket may stick—gently pry with plastic scraper.
Inspect mating surfaces. Clean both engine block and pump housing with soft cloth or gasket scraper. Remove all old rubber compound and debris. Surfaces must be dry.
Install new gasket. Position fresh gasket over dowel pins. Ensure correct orientation and alignment with inlet/outlet ports.
Install water pump connector (if replacing). Fit new O-ring seal or connector as applicable. Secure with factory-spec bolts in cross-pattern.
Torque bolts to specification. Typically 18–25 Nm for standard fasteners. Do not over-tighten; use calibrated torque wrench.
Refill coolant system. Use OEM-approved coolant (typically Jaguar/Land Rover spec). Bleed air pockets by running engine at idle with radiator cap off for 2–3 minutes. Top up as needed.
Test for leaks. Let engine cool. Inspect gasket interface and all connections. Start engine and monitor for drips over 15-minute run cycle.
⚠ Critical: Do not reuse old gaskets. Always replace with fresh seals. High-temperature coolant under pressure will compromise compromised or aged gasket materials. If purchasing the 4-piece set, read connector installation guide carefully—plastic and aluminium versions have different bolt patterns.

Before purchase: Cross-check your OEM part number (11537586885 or 11537502779) with your service records or VIN. Thermostats are generation-specific; wrong fitment can cause overheating.
Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 30–45 minutes
Drain coolant from the radiator petcock (or catch tank) into a clean container.
Locate the thermostat housing at the front of the engine block (consult your service manual for exact position by model).
Disconnect the 2-pin connector from the old housing. Note its orientation.
Remove bolts securing the housing to the block; carefully lift away.
Clean the mating surface on the engine block with a lint-free cloth. Inspect for corrosion or debris.
Apply a thin bead of gasket maker (optional; O-ring is typically sufficient) and position the new assembly.
Torque housing bolts to spec (typically 7–10 Nm; consult your model service manual).
Reconnect the 2-pin harness, ensuring the connector seats firmly.
Refill coolant to the top of the expansion tank or catch bottle.
Start the engine and watch for leaks around the housing for 2–3 minutes. Top up if needed.
Run at operating temperature (fans cycling) and recheck coolant level.
Always use fresh BMW coolant (G11, G12, or G13 depending on your year). Never mix coolant types. If you're unsure of your spec, consult your owner's manual or contact our team at +44 203 943 9919.

DIY or Professional?
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1–2 hours | Coolant top-up required
Drain coolant from radiator petcock or lower hose. Catch in a drain pan. (Dispose of responsibly; antifreeze is recyclable.)
Remove upper radiator hose and coolant expansion tank if necessary to access thermostat housing.
Unbolt old housing (3–4 bolts, typically 10mm or 13mm). Lift clear and set aside.
Clean mating surfaces thoroughly with a rag and gasket scraper. No old sealant residue should remain.
Position new thermostat housing with integrated thermostat facing the engine block. Align bolt holes.
Install and torque bolts to Land Rover spec (~20–25 Nm). Do not over-tighten; cracking risk on plastic housing.
Reconnect hoses and tighten clips securely. Double-check all connections.
Refill coolant with a 50/50 antifreeze/distilled water mix (or OEM-approved equivalent). Bleed air from the system by running the engine on idle with the expansion tank cap off until coolant flow stabilises.
Top up expansion tank to the correct level once the engine cools.
Check for leaks around the new housing seams and hose connections. Run the engine to operating temperature and inspect again.
⚠ Important: Allow the engine to cool fully before beginning work. Pressurised coolant and hot metal surfaces cause severe burns. If you're unsure about any step, consult a Land Rover specialist or take the vehicle to a professional technician.
Why This Thermostat Matters
A worn or failed thermostat housing can cause overheating, coolant leaks, and sensor faults that trigger check-engine lights. Preventative replacement is much cheaper than dealing with engine damage. This OEM-spec assembly ensures your cooling system stays in peak condition and your engine runs reliably for years to come.

Overview
The Land Rover Freelander LR2 (2008–2012) with 3.2L petrol engines relies on a precision cooling system where every hose connection matters. Over time, factory radiator hoses degrade, leak, and lose their seal—compromising coolant flow, engine temperature regulation, and overall system reliability. This Direct Replacement Radiator Hose Set restores OE performance with materials engineered to handle high-pressure coolant cycles and temperature fluctuations.
Our hose set includes three factory-specification segments: oil cooler outlet line, bottom-to-water-pump inlet, and thermostat-to-radiator lower hose. Each hose is manufactured to original equipment dimensions, wall thickness, and rubber compound specification, ensuring perfect fit and durability across your LR2's cooling circuit.
Whether you're replacing worn hoses as preventive maintenance or addressing a leak, this comprehensive three-piece set eliminates the need for multiple sourcing and guarantees compatibility across the entire front cooling system. Backed by a 12-month warranty and Victorious's 30-day money-back guarantee, you can install with confidence.

Installation Guide
Radiator Hose Replacement – Cooling System Service
Preparation: Allow engine to cool completely. Disconnect negative battery terminal. Position drain pan under radiator.
Drain Coolant: Open radiator drain plug (lower right side). Allow full drainage into container. Close drain plug when empty.
Remove Old Hoses: Unbolt hose clamps at both ends using socket wrench or adjustable wrench. Gently twist and pull hoses free. Note clamp positions.
Clean Connection Points: Wipe radiator, water pump inlet, and thermostat housing with lint-free cloth. Remove old rubber debris.
Install New Hoses: Slip new hoses onto ports. Ensure full seating (hose should sit 1/4" from port edge). Hand-tighten clamps first.
Secure Clamps: Torque hose clamps to 15–20 N·m (11–15 lb-ft). Do not over-tighten or you may crack ports.
Refill Coolant: Pour recommended coolant (check owner's manual for type) until radiator is full. Start engine and allow air to bleed naturally.
Final Check: Run engine for 10 minutes at idle. Check for leaks around all hose connections. Top up coolant if needed.
Safety Note: Do not open radiator cap or remove hoses while engine is hot. Pressurized coolant can cause severe burns. Always work on a cold engine.

Installation
Thermostat Outlet Connector Replacement – 2.0L Petrol Engines
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time Required: 30–45 minutes | Tools Needed: Socket set, coolant drain pan, torque wrench
Drain Cooling System: Allow engine to cool completely. Open the radiator drain plug and capture coolant in a clean pan for reuse or disposal per local environmental standards.
Locate Outlet Connector: The thermostat housing sits near the top of the engine block. Identify the water outlet connector—typically a small plastic or metal fitting joining the housing to the upper radiator hose.
Disconnect Hose & Clamps: Loosen the radiator hose clamp and gently pull the hose free. Use a socket to remove the connector bolts (usually M12–M16, typically 20–25 Nm torque).
Remove Old Connector: Carefully extract the failing connector. Clean the mating surface of the thermostat housing with a soft cloth to remove coolant residue and old gasket material.
Install New Connector: Position the new Partsmost outlet connector and hand-thread the bolts. Tighten in a cross pattern to the correct torque specification (typically 20–25 Nm; refer to your vehicle's service manual).
Reconnect Hose: Reattach the upper radiator hose, ensuring the clamp is seated properly. Tighten the clamp to finger-tight-plus-a-quarter-turn to avoid over-torquing.
Refill Cooling System: Pour fresh coolant (or recovered original coolant) into the radiator to the proper level. Run the engine at idle for 2–3 minutes, watching for leaks around the new connector. Top up if needed.
Bleed Air Pockets: Most modern cooling systems self-bleed, but if your vehicle has a bleed nipple on the thermostat housing or upper hose, crack it open briefly to expel trapped air.
Test & Verify: Allow the engine to cool, then perform a final visual inspection around the connector for any seepage. Take a short test drive to confirm normal temperature gauge operation.
Important: Never loosen the radiator cap or drain coolant from a warm engine—severe burns can result. Use OEM-grade coolant appropriate to your vehicle's specification. Do not mix coolant types. If the replacement connector continues to leak, stop immediately and inspect for cross-threading or internal damage.
Complete Your Cooling System Upgrade
Thermostat water outlet connectors fail silently and without warning, leading to coolant loss and potential engine damage. This OEM-specification replacement restores thermal integrity and prevents costly overheating repairs. Order today with confidence.

Installation & Difficulty Level
🔨 Installation Overview
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time Required: 1–2 hours | Tools Needed: Socket set, hose clamp pliers, fluid catch tray, coolant (if refilling)
Safety First – Allow the engine to cool completely. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Set the vehicle on a level surface and engage the handbrake.
Drain Coolant (if required) – If replacing the thermostat water pipe, drain excess coolant into a catch tray to prevent spillage.
Remove Old Hose – Locate the hose clamps securing the old hose to the throttle body or thermostat housing. Use a socket or clamp pliers to release them gently.
Disconnect & Remove – Slide the old hose off its connections. Check the connection points for debris or damage; clean if necessary.
Inspect Connection Points – Verify that fittings are clean and undamaged. Light surface corrosion can be gently brushed away.
Install New Hose – Slide the new hose firmly onto the connections, ensuring it sits flush against both fittings.
Secure with Clamps – Refit the hose clamps and tighten evenly with pliers or socket. Avoid over-tightening, which can crack hose barbs.
Refill & Bleed – Top up coolant to the correct level. Run the engine on idle for 5–10 minutes to bleed air from the system. Check for leaks.
Final Inspection – Once cool, verify clamp tightness and confirm no coolant is weeping from the connection points.
⚠️ Important: Never open a hot coolant system—pressurised coolant can cause severe burns. Always allow the engine to cool for at least 30 minutes before beginning work. Use the correct coolant type specified in your owner's manual; mixing types can reduce freeze protection and cause corrosion.

Installation Notes
📋 Before You Start
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1–2 hours | Tools: Hose clamps, coolant drain pan, socket set
Cool the engine completely – do not work on a hot cooling system.
Remove radiator grille and plastic covers to access the upper hose connection at the thermostat housing.
Drain coolant into a clean container – approximately 3–4 liters of fluid will spill.
Disconnect the old upper hose from the thermostat housing and radiator inlet. Note hose routing.
Remove the lower hose from the radiator outlet and water pump connection. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor if fitted.
Clean the threaded ports on the thermostat housing, radiator, and water pump with a lint-free cloth.
Install the new upper hose – ensure it routes behind the intake manifold and does not contact hot surfaces.
Attach the lower hose to the radiator outlet first, then secure at the water pump. Reconnect the temperature sensor.
Tighten hose clamps gradually in a cross pattern – firm but not crushing the rubber.
Refill the coolant system and bleed air from the heater by running the engine briefly at idle with the heater on.
Check all connections for drips before returning the vehicle to service.
⚠️ Important: Do not overtighten hose clamps – excess compression can pinch or tear the rubber. Use OE coolant specification and refill to the cold-fill mark on the reservoir.
Ready to Restore Your Cooling System?
Radiator hose failure can leave you stranded. This OE-spec assembly restores your engine's thermal management in one drop-in kit – no modifications, no guesswork.

Overview
If you own a 2010–2012 Range Rover, 2014+ Range Rover Sport, 2010+ Discovery LR4, 2017+ Discovery, or 2017+ Range Rover Velar with a V6 or V8 petrol engine, you know the engine cooling system is critical to performance and longevity. The coolant water pump pipe assembly (part LR049990/LR049989) is a high-stress component, subject to constant thermal cycling and vibration from the engine bay.
Over time, the rubber seals degrade, copper fittings corrode, or cracks develop in the pipe itself—leading to slow leaks, overheating, and potential engine damage. This OEM-spec repair kit restores the integrity of your cooling circuit with factory-equivalent materials and tolerances.
Engineered to direct-fit your specific Range Rover, Discovery, or Velar, this kit eliminates guesswork. One kit replaces the entire water pump pipe assembly, restoring coolant flow and thermal efficiency in a single installation. No modifications. No compromise.

Important: This repair kit is engineered exclusively for petrol (gasoline) engines. Diesel cooling systems use different pipe tolerances and materials. Verify your engine type before ordering.
Installation Guide
DIY Difficulty: Moderate | Time: 1.5–2.5 hours
Prepare the vehicle: Engine off, fully cooled. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Raise the vehicle safely on a jack and secure with axle stands.
Drain coolant system: Locate the coolant drain plug (underside of radiator). Place a pan beneath and drain fully. Keep coolant in a labeled container for disposal or reuse.
Remove hoses and clamps: Unbolt the intake manifold cover and coolant reservoir. Disconnect all hoses feeding the water pump pipe assembly—note their position or photograph for reassembly.
Remove mounting bolts: The water pump pipe assembly is secured to the engine block with 2–3 bolts. Remove these carefully and set them aside (reuse them).
Extract old assembly: Gently pull the old pipe away from the engine. Take care not to damage gasket surfaces on the block.
Install new assembly: Position the new repair kit onto the engine block. Align bolt holes and insert the original bolts. Torque to 20–25 Nm (15–18 ft-lbs) in a cross pattern.
Reconnect hoses: Reattach all coolant hoses to their correct ports. Secure with hose clamps. Double-check all connections are hand-tight.
Refill coolant: Fill the radiator and reservoir with fresh coolant (50/50 antifreeze mix). Replace the reservoir cap and run the engine at idle for 5 minutes. Check for leaks.
Bleed air: Open the bleed screw on the thermostat housing (if equipped) and allow air to escape while coolant flows. Close once coolant runs clear.
Final check: Monitor temperature gauge for 10 minutes at idle. Coolant should read 85–95°C. No leaks. No steam. Reconnect battery and clear any fault codes with a diagnostic tool.
⚠ Critical: Never work on a hot engine. Coolant reaches 120°C and releases under pressure—severe burns risk. Allow at least 2 hours cool-down. Dispose of old coolant responsibly at a recycling facility.

Overview
The Range Rover L405 (2002–2009), Range Rover Sport L494 (2005–2009), and Land Rover Discovery 3 LR3 are built on legendary powertrains—but they demand precision cooling. The 4.4L V8 petrol engine generates significant thermal load, especially during towing, sustained highway driving, or off-road work. Oil temperature control isn't optional; it's essential to engine longevity and performance consistency.
This OEM-equivalent oil cooler restores factory cooling capacity through a precision aluminum core design and optimized flow architecture. Engineered to meet Partsmost standards, it maintains oil viscosity across driving conditions, preventing sludge buildup and protecting critical bearing surfaces. Whether you're touring the Scottish Highlands or crossing challenging terrain, controlled oil temperatures mean controlled power delivery.
Direct bolt-on fitment requires no modifications. Installation is straightforward for owners with basic mechanical competence, and the 1-year warranty covers defects in manufacturing. This is genuine cooling system restoration—not a compromise.

Overview
Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Defender 110, Discovery 5, Velar, and corresponding Jaguar models equipped with ZF 8-speed automatic transmissions generate significant heat during normal operation—especially in challenging terrain, towing, or warm climates. Factory transmission fluid temperatures can exceed safe thresholds, leading to degraded fluid viscosity, accelerated wear, and reduced shift quality.
This direct-fit transmission oil cooler is engineered to intercept hot fluid returning from the transmission, dissipating heat before it recirculates. By maintaining transmission fluid at an optimal operating window (typically 65–75°C), you preserve fluid integrity, improve shift response, and dramatically extend transmission service intervals.
Built to OEM specification with aircraft-grade aluminum construction, this cooler is a straightforward bolt-in replacement. No modifications, no rerouting of lines. Simply drop in and protect one of your Land Rover's most critical systems.

Installation
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1.5–2 hours
Disconnect battery negative terminal and allow engine to cool for 30 minutes minimum. Do not work on hot transmission lines.
Safely raise vehicle on jack stands. Remove lower undertray fasteners to access the transmission cooler area.
Locate factory transmission cooler (if equipped) or identify the main transmission fluid line loop. You may see an OEM cooler already present on some models.
Disconnect fluid lines by carefully unscrewing the AN-style hose fittings. Have a small container ready to catch residual fluid (~200 ml). Immediately plug ports with rubber caps to prevent contamination.
Remove mounting bolts securing the old cooler (if present) or locate mounting points. Install supplied brackets using provided Grade-8 bolts. Torque to 15 Nm.
Position new cooler in the mounting brackets, ensuring it sits flush against underbody for airflow access. Secure with bolts.
Reconnect fluid lines to the new cooler's inlet and outlet ports. Use new crush-washer seals on all fittings. Torque AN fittings to 22–25 Nm. Do not overtighten.
Refill transmission fluid if any spilled. Check dipstick (or use BECM fluid level check on newer vehicles). Top up with OEM Jaguar Land Rover DM-24 or approved equivalent if necessary.
Reinstall undertray and lower vehicle. Reconnect battery.
Start engine and check for leaks around all fittings for 5 minutes at idle. No seepage = success. Drive gently for 10 km before full-throttle operation.
⚠️ Important: If you are uncomfortable working with transmission systems or have never replaced a transmission cooler, we recommend professional installation by a Land Rover specialist. Improper fitting can cause fluid loss and transmission damage. Victorious provides installation support: call +44 203 943 9919 for referrals.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time Required: 1.5–2 hours
Disconnect battery negative terminal — Allow engine to cool fully for 30 minutes minimum before commencing work.
Drain coolant system — Open petcock on radiator lower hose; capture fluid in approved waste container. Do not dispose down drain.
Remove upper radiator hose — Loosen hose clamp and gently separate connection. Small coolant spillage is normal.
Unbolt housing assembly — Remove three M8 bolts (torque spec: 25 Nm) connecting housing to engine block. Retain fasteners for reinstallation.
Disconnect sensor wiring — Gently twist electrical connector counterclockwise; unplug from housing loom.
Install new housing — Position replacement unit, ensuring gasket seats flush against engine face. Install bolts and torque to spec in diagonal sequence.
Reconnect sensor — Align connector and twist clockwise until audible click confirms seating.
Reattach radiator hose — Slide upper hose onto thermostat outlet; secure with original clamp.
Refill coolant system — Pour approved Land Rover coolant (OAT-spec) until reservoir reaches "cold fill" line. Bleed air pockets by running engine at idle for 3 minutes.
Reconnect battery and perform diagnostics — Scan for sensor faults using OBD2 device. Zero fault codes expected post-installation.
⚠️ Critical Safety Note: Never remove thermostat housing when engine is warm or running. High-pressure coolant can cause severe burns.
