Installation Notes
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–60 minutes per axle

Disconnect the negative battery terminal to disable the ABS module and avoid false diagnostic codes.

Raise the vehicle on jack stands and remove the wheel to access the sensor assembly behind the brake rotor or brake drum.

Locate the sensor bracket mounted to the steering knuckle (front) or axle housing (rear).

Unplug the 2-pin connector from the factory sensor by pressing the release tab and pulling straight back.

Remove the single 10mm bolt securing the sensor bracket to the suspension component.

Install the new sensor into the bracket and torque the bolt to 10–12 Nm (7.4–8.8 ft-lb).

Reconnect the 2-pin harness by inserting straight into the connector until it clicks—ensure no visible pins remain exposed.

Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts to 130 Nm (96 ft-lb) in a star pattern.

Reconnect the battery terminal and start the engine to clear any stored codes.

Road test at low speed (30 km/h) with gentle braking to confirm ABS light is off and all stability systems respond normally.
Warning: Do not reuse factory sensors or mixing old and new parts on the same axle. Always replace front and rear sensors as a complete set to maintain balanced wheel speed signal. Mismatched sensors can cause traction control to malfunction.
