Overview
If you're running a 5.0L supercharged or naturally aspirated V8 in your Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport, or Jaguar, the heater manifold tube is a critical cooling system component that channels heated coolant to the cabin heater matrix. When your original fails—often signaled by cabin heating loss or coolant leaks near the engine block—a direct replacement is your safest bet.
This OEM-specification aluminium heater tube drops straight in to multiple Land Rover and Jaguar applications, from 2010 Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports through to the latest generation F-Pace. It's engineered to survive the thermal cycling and pressure loads of high-output V8 engines without compromise.
Backed by a 12-month warranty and manufactured to original equipment standards, this is the honest, no-compromise solution for owners who won't accept second-best cooling integrity.

Check your OEM part number: Before ordering, verify your original heater tube is stamped with LR018273, LR077042, LR087559, LR109402, LR122709, AJ814056, or C2Z31645. If unsure, send us a photo or your VIN—we'll confirm fit at no charge.
Installation Notes
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 1.5–2.5 hours
-
Disconnect the negative battery terminal and allow the engine to cool completely.
-
Drain the cooling system into a suitable container to prevent spillage and environmental hazard.
-
Remove the two upper coolant hoses from the inlet and outlet ports on the old heater manifold tube using a hose clamp tool or adjustable spanner.
-
Unbolt the heater tube from the engine block (typically 2–3 M10 bolts; use a 17mm socket and extension).
-
Inspect the gasket sealing surfaces on the engine block. Clean any old gasket residue with a soft brush and solvent.
-
Position the new heater manifold tube and hand-thread the mounting bolts to ensure correct alignment.
-
Torque bolts to 25–30 Nm (18–22 ft-lbf) in a cross pattern to ensure even pressure distribution.
-
Reconnect the two coolant hoses and tighten hose clamps firmly (13–17 Nm). Leave a small gap to allow for thermal expansion.
-
Refill the cooling system with the correct coolant type for your vehicle (typically Jaguar/Land Rover coolant concentrate diluted 50/50 with distilled water).
-
Bleed air by opening the bleed nipple on the top of the radiator or expansion tank until steady coolant flows out, then close it and top up the expansion tank.
-
Reconnect the battery terminal, start the engine, and monitor coolant temperature and cabin heater operation for 10 minutes.
-
Recheck coolant level after the engine has cooled and top up if necessary.
Safety: Never remove the radiator cap or heater hoses on a hot engine. Pressurized coolant can cause severe burns. Always drain and refill with the correct coolant spec—mixing types will degrade corrosion protection and potentially cause blockages.
