Installation Notes
🛠 DIY Friendly · Estimated Time: 30–45 Minutes · No Tools Required
- Thoroughly clean the window frame and channel trim where each visor will sit. Use a lint-free cloth with 50% isopropyl alcohol solution and allow to dry completely — any residue or moisture will compromise adhesion.
- Dry-fit each visor to confirm alignment and positioning before removing the adhesive backing. The visors are side-specific — check left and right orientation carefully before proceeding.
- Use a hot air gun or hair dryer on a low setting to gently warm the adhesive strip for 10–15 seconds. This activates the adhesive and significantly improves initial bond strength, especially in cold or damp conditions.
- Peel the adhesive backing and carefully position each visor, pressing firmly along its full length for at least 30 seconds to ensure full contact with the trim surface.
- Repeat for all four visors, then press each one again with firm, even pressure before leaving to cure undisturbed.
- Allow the adhesive to cure at ambient temperature for a minimum of 48 hours before exposing to water, high-pressure washing, or extreme weather.
⚠ Important: Do not run your vehicle through an automated car wash or use a pressure washer on the visor adhesive area for at least 48 hours post-installation. Premature water exposure is the single most common cause of fitment failure. Hand washing after the cure period is recommended for the first clean.
