Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate · Estimated Time: 45–90 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal kit, basic hand tools
- Open the bonnet and ensure the vehicle is powered off and keys are removed from the ignition before beginning work.
- Carefully remove the factory front grille using a trim removal tool, releasing the retaining clips around the perimeter. Take your time to avoid marking the bumper surround.
- Disconnect any existing grille-mounted sensors or camera connections if applicable and note their positions for reassembly.
- Offer up the new LED front grille assembly to the aperture and route the wiring harness through to the engine bay before clipping the grille into position.
- Connect the pre-terminated DRL wiring harness to the vehicle's factory daytime running light feed. The connectors are plug-and-play — no splicing is required.
- Press the grille firmly around all edges to ensure every clip is fully seated. Test the LED strip by switching the vehicle on and checking DRL operation before closing the bonnet.
- Tidy any excess wiring with the included clips and conduct a final visual inspection to confirm alignment and fitment.
